Ad from a 1996 or 1997 VHS Movie
 

Hi Gang,

This may not neccesarily relate to a movie (sort of), but I saw an ad on YouTube for Clairol Herbal Essences Body Wash from 1996 or 97, which is a little bit different than the one shown on TV at the time, but it appears to have come from a store-bought VHS movie (kinda like the ones you also use to see in rental stores). Can anyone figure out which one the ad came from?

I never remember any shampoo commercials or the like on a VHS tape. They were always other movies that I remember.

Never use shampoo, I prefer the real stuff.

I'm also thinking it could've been from a master copy by either Clairol or the ad client that may have been used by a retailer. Back then, stores like Walmart, Blockbuster, and others would display ads for products in their stores. For example, I saw a Coke ad at a local Blockbuster store in the late 90's.
