What makes a movie Great to watch, but only once?
Am I alone is this? It's a weird classification to wonder about.
There a few movies in this category for me, and I've often wondered why and/or how they exist. By "Great" I mean one that you recognized as great while watching, or I suppose even merely "a great watch". ....but still would rather not see again for some reason. For me, the list would include things like: ...(many others) The thing I find weird about this is that it seems that the two metrics ("really like"-ness and "would see again"-ness) should be the same thing. Still not 100% sure what this is. Perhaps something akin to "it takes emotional effort to watch", but that doesn't completely cover it for me. |
