Test Your Common Knowledge

Here's a new game we can try.

If any of you have seen the Howard Stern show on E!, then you may be familiar with the game he plays with porn stars, penthouse pets, strippers etc. He asks them common knowledge questions and it's funny to see how stupid they are. For example, he'll ask, "Who invented the telephone?" "Who wrote Huckleberry Finn?" "How many feet in a yard?" or "How many years in a decade?"

Here's how our game will play. Without the help of the internet, answer the question from the person posting above, and then post your own question. Try to make these common knowledge questions. It should be easy. Let's see how it goes.

I'll start with a grammar question:

Which of the following sentences is correct?

A. I don't know whose shoes are under the bed.
B. I don't know who's shoes are under the bed.

Answer the question and pose your own.

I shall dive upon this grenade to save the rest of MoFo. That would be "whose", because "who's" is a contraction of the words "who is" and "who was". If you're ever in doubt, just substitute "who is" for "who's". If it don't make sense, then don't be usin' the contraction. Dig?

And a bit of grammar learning for the lot of you. :D

My question:

Who was the youngest person ever to be elected President of these United States?

Go!

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. On a sesame seed bun.

In honor of the fact that I'm getting ready to head out to the teletrack:

What was the name of the first horse to win the Kentucky Derby?

The jockey or the horse?

The horse was Aristides; the jockey was Lewis. Is knowledge of the past Kentucky Derby winners really "common knowledge" though?

P.S. You got the order of the planets wrong. Jupiter is closer to the sun than Saturn.

Once again, Cait hits me with a question I think I know the answer to, but am not sure of. James Madison, I believe?

Quasi-keeping with the theme (though this one should be easy): who's on the $100 bill?
