Obviously their releases are steady, so we can't say "don't release your animated feature the same year as a Pixar" film. But we can definitely say "don't release your animated feature the same year super genius Pete Docter releases a Pixar film."

I've only seen the two Pixar flicks and found them both underwhelming. I doubt I'll even bother watching the Oscars this year. I've seen only a few of the nominated films and have very little interest in the films I haven't seen.

Soul is a pretty easy choice this year. But Wolfwalker was special too.
