Tom Hanks' Greyhound

I'm surprised there's been no mention of this upcoming World War II film written by and starring Tom Hanks that comes out this spring. March 22 to be exact, unless the release date has been recently changed.

Nice change of pace for Hanks. Hope it's good.

Throwback crush Elisabeth Shue :)
Love 'submarine movies', looking forward to it, but the bar is set pretty high by Das Boot, Crimson Tide and The Hunt For Red October. Releases May 7th over here.

Poster says release date is June 12.

Run Silent Run Deep (1958), with Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster wasn't too shabby either.

Thanks for the reminder Doc. I Haven't seen that one yet, it's on my watch-list and so is The Enemy Below (1957) with Robert Mitchum.

Tom Hanks is my favorite actor still making films regularly. The teaser came up on youtube, and I thought it looked really cool.

Can't wait to see this one!

Anyone else notice that Hanks wrote the screenplay? Adapted from a novel, specifically.

Apparently he's written a collection of short stories.

Hopefully it's as good as the trailer makes out. This be his last movie if the virus gets him.
