help remembering name of scifi movie
 

I'm trying to remember the name of a scifi movie I saw. I think it was released after 2010 but possibly before. Not sure if it was in theaters but it seems like a AAA movie. Sorta feels like Doom (2005).

IIRC, it starts out with an action sequence taking place in some sort of barracks or research facility. It seems like something is invading their base because an alarm is going off. I think there's some time warping and teleportation. I think the captain stays to fight off the invasion so his men can teleport to another facility on another planet. This all takes place in the beginning of the movie.

This has been bugging me for months so any help is appreciated.

kind of sounds like Starship Troopers 2 or 3, it's been a while since I have seen them but it's worth a shot.

after looking at the trailers it really sounds like Starship Troopers 3 : Maurauder.

I appreciate the guess but that's not it. The film I'm thinking about is more serious.
