Hey Optimus, I'm looking forward to your thread! And I'm glad you've decided to join in:) We always need new members. I'm fairly new myself.

+ rep for ignoring matt's advice. Write them out properly, include pics and, most importantly, why you like the film/what it means to you.

I quite like Tango & Cash, but it ruins it all with the last 20 minutes. Not seen the other three and, tbh, not likely to.

Looking forward to it. Bring on the next set.

Lawless is my favorite from that group, but the others leave a lot to be desired by me. Nice layout. Keep them coming. I give rep for the effort unlike some of the other stingy people around here.;)

Thanks guys. And sorry Matt I like the countdown approach mate.

Sane 12-12-14 04:27 PM

Lawless was good but went downhill a bit towards the end. The Wolverine was pretty bad and I haven't seen Tango & Cash for years and really have no recollection of whether it was good or not. The Adam Sandler one looks awful but I shouldn't judge it without seeing it ...

Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Haven't seen any of the films. I might check out Tango and Cash and Lawless. Very nice layout.

Grown Up's is Awful but I still really enjoy it. I think it's that bad it's good, plus it's actually very funny. I like Adam Sandler movies anyway, and I didn't expect that pick to go down very well with you lot :).

Re: Optimus 100 favourite movies

Thumbs of for Tango and Cash and Lawless. Really agree on the fact that Lawless is underrated, it just suffered from a bad image of Shia Labeouf and lack of advertising. Tango and Cash was one of those few movies starring Sylvester Stallone that I actually liked.

Not on board with the rest though. Grown Ups is dumb and unfunny, and there wasn't any authenticity in Adam Sandler's performance whatsoever. It looked like he just wanted to make some money fast. Don't have much problems with The Wolverine itself, but I think it was an unnecessary film.

Good job so far, looking forward to the rest of your choices.

The best part about people's top 100 is reading why they like the films. I love reading all that stuff.

Matt, do it properly!

Optimus - looking forward to your list. I love Tango and Cash :)

I sometimes feel like I've the only person who actually enjoyed X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which I actually give a 7/10 to. Granted, not having been invested in Deadpool before hand probably helped, but that's neither here nor there (since I continue to like it even after the fact). Still, I will be the first to admit that The Wolverine was a superior film to it in most respects (Origins still has a better opening credit sequence).

I haven't seen the other three films, but can definitely say that Grown Ups is doubtless one that I'd dislike.
