Lone Star
 

For those who would know, does the Region 1 edition of John Sayles' 1996 Western Lone Star have a decent release in North America? All versions i've found are packaged in a crappy cardboard sleeve, which looks for lack of a better term, pure ****. I'd like to have an idea of what i'm getting before I splash my hard earned.

I can't answer your question Fenwick, but I certainly concur regarding those awful cardboard dvd cases. I have around four or five of them in my collection and they really bring the neighbourhood down.

Don't see anything but cardboard for this. You can print your own cover and slip it into a spare cover, that's what I do. You can take a good photo of the cardboard to get a print file. Then just fold the cover back far enough to slip it in right over top of the original.
