Long live Dr Blair.
Also, the way he simply warns Paul Newman in Absence of Malice “I see you’re a smart man...careful, I’m pretty smart too.” He had a presence about him. RIP |
Unfortunately have never seen him in anything, but just days before I decided that The Thing is gonna be one of the movies I watch for this year's Halloween month. R.I.P., my man.

He was an actor who was great in every role he played-- a natural actor and a man's man. I especially enjoyed him in The Natural, along with Richard Farnsworth.
|
Another devastating blow to Hollywood...what I loved about Brimley was his versatility...this guy could do warm and cuddly like a big ol' teddy bear or could be dangerously menacing...especially loved him in Cocoon, The Natural, In & Out, and especially The Firm. RIP

The guy on the left is my husband (Yoda's stepdad). Just making that clear. :D

I think the first movie I saw him in was Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins.
He was a good actor. He'll be missed. R.I.P. |
He was in so many great movies. For me, his most memorable role was probably in Cocoon, but I also loved him in The Electric Horseman, The China Syndrome, The Natural, and In & Out.
R.I.P. :( |
