During the TIFF this weekend, Eddie Murphy has confirmed he will be bringing back...Jackson Heights' own...Mr. Randy Watson...and his band Sexual Chocolate.

Eddie is grasping at straws and it's sad to see, he's talented enough to come up with something better but he seems to think he can pull it off.. the opening weekend crowd might be decent,but if this thing ain't good it will sink faster than the Titantic...the real one not the movie!!

They have successfully managed to recapture the look and feel of the original film. Most late sequels fail to do that, so kudos to the filmmakers.

The premise seems forced and illogical, but whatever. Bring back the entire cast and I'll definitely watch this. Hopefully, it turns out really funny and not lame like so many sequels to classic comedies have turned out (Dumb and Dumber To, anybody?) Apparently his son's mother is from a character played by Lesley Jones, and they had sex before meeting Lisa. I'm guessing it could have been one of the crazy women he met at the club with Simmi. This movie was terrible. I didn't laugh once. Poor execution and stale plot. And to think this was Eddie Murphy and director Craig Brewer's follow-up to the brilliant Dolemite Is My Name is quite cringey.
