Favorite Short Films

I'm looking to invest more time into short cinema, and am looking for suggestions.

I am very interested in the early short films by established directors. I think it's interesting seeing them figuring out their style. I watched "The Big Shave" by a young Scorsese and loved it precisely because you see so much Scorsese in it. It's very good.

Doesn't have to be limited to those, though. Share whatever short films you have enjoyed.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a short film.

Scorsese has a short (Life lessons) in New York Stories
Andrea Arnold has some a couple of good early films: Wasp and Dog.
McDonagh’s Six Shooter is worth checking out.
Lynne Ramsay has a good early short: Gasman
