Congrats JC and thank for the tourney, Chyp.

BTW, if this runs again, are all the finalists banned from being nominated?

Thanks hk and yeah, I think anything that wins a round and makes the final should be unable to be nommed again - nothing worse than the same old tunes turning out time and time again as if they are a part of the Brexit process :D

I'm definitely happy to run a series of these (or let others run some as well) if people want one every now and then. They're actually a lot less work than the usual song tourneys.

Sorry, did extend it by 12 hours just in case you managed to find your way out from the mound of diapers in time but sadly it wasn't to be.

Congratulations to @John-Connor on the win and a tip of the proverbial hat to @Chypmunk for hosting this shindig. I was initially skeptical of this new format, but now I think it's the only type of song tournament in which I'd participate. It's much less of a time commitment than traditional song tournaments, and being able to come and go is also a big plus. Going forward, hopefully more members will learn of the new rules and format, allowing us to have more of a revolving door of players throughout the tournament's run. Count me in for next time.

Totally agree! Love how this works and I'll be back for the next as well

Re: A Song For March (a song tourney with a difference)

Glad you both enjoyed it Cap & Ed  As I said at the very beginning I had absolutely no idea how this format would go down but I think it worked out fairly well and is a much more relaxed affair as Cap points out. Next one will probably be in June I think.
