*I know it's recent, but my DVDs before that were all bought for me rather then me going out and getting them/ordering them.

**Perhaps not classed as the best of the best my many, but my Dad has the Godfather trilogy, the Deer Hunter, Goodfellas etc all in there collection so no point in my going out and getting them!

God... this thread really makes my taste in movies look pretty bad!!

WE ALL HAVE OUR UPS AND DOWNS ON DVDS. i hate it when GOD BETRAYS ME!!! for example i buy collector's edition pulp fiction for 19.99 and then a week later KILL BILL COMES OUT ALL OF QUENTIN TARANTINOS MOVIES ARE ON SALE. Pulp Ficiton is 16.99 a couple of bucks difference but still i could have used those couple of bucks to buy chips, snacks, dinner, or something. i just hate it when you buy something so expensive like a movie that cost 49.99(Box Set like Rocky or something) and then in a week or two its on sale for 34.99 or something that just sucks. :(

The Definitive Star Wars Trilogy? How did you get that?

It's the Definitive Star Wars Trilogy from the rare laserdisc set (god knows if it still exists on LD format), onto a 4 DVD set. I got it from the supplier of mine a long while back.
