Just finished Ebert’s Great Movies list

It’s been a year-long odyssey but tonight I finally checked the final box.
What a wonderful thing to do. I discovered so many incredible films and visionary filmmakers I would have never probably heard of. Would recommend. |

My gf thinks I watch I watch movies that are incredibly sexually disturbing, such as Once Upon a Time In America or Oldboy for example, and wonders where do I find such disturbing movies. I tell her Roger Ebert's picks.

Well known 1. Vertigo 2. 8 1/2 3. City Lights Lesser known 1. Ikiru 2. Night of the Hunter 3. Wings of Desire I was legitimately astonished by these films. There are many more truly great ones on the list tho. |
