Help with finding a movie I watched a long time ago.
 

Ok so I watched this a few years ago in the cinema and just recently i just started remembering random scenes from this movie so I don't really have a full summery of what it is cz i literally cant remember what happens i just remember that i really liked it.
so what i distinctly remember is that there was a group of teenagers and at the beginning they were running away from something and I think one of their friends dies but at the end of the movie they found out that her soul was trapped in a tree (Ik it sounds stupid but that's what I remember:)) And another random thing i remember is that there was this black dude that does something so someone casts a spell on him or something so his feet turn to goat legs and there's a really funny scene that i remember laughing really hard at. I'm sorry that's all I remember but please help me figure out the name of this movie. even if you think that you might know it just reply idc if you turn out to be wrong.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief has Percy's friend reveal himself as a satyr - person with goat legs.

During a chase, Percy's mom is seemingly killed by the Minotaur, but she was really taken to Hades. I don't remember if she was in a tree when she was found.

Well remembered :). The goat legs part made me think of those films but I wasn't sure.

Its sequal the sea of monsters has a scene where a girl sacrifices herself to get the others into the camp, and her father Zeus turns her into a tree which forms the protective barrier of the half blood camp.
