Remember, now's actually an okay time to volunteer to Curate a given list, since people reasonably like to vote for the combination of type and Curator if it's a particularly good fit and all that.

I'm gonna do something a little different this time and try allowing multiple votes, so people can vote for each option they're okay with. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but let's give it a try in this case to maybe alleviate some of the usual vote-splitting/plurality winner stuff we discussed in the last thread.

Hrm.
I think I'll sit this count out, but I'd be interested in a Noir list to use as my own watchlist. I have little experience there. I guess a close second would be Foreign Language for the same reason. No votes from me as I don't want to affect the count knowing I likely won't participate, but I'm eager to see what people target.

There is an AFI list for Best Musicals, which we have logged here on the site.

It was compiled a while ago, the most recent titles are Chicago and Moulin Rouge!, and of course the AFI lists by design do not include foreign films....but their list capped off at only twenty-five. Maybe we could pull a Top 50 here, but I think it'd be damn near impossible to get to a Top 100, for which you would need upwards of sixty MoFos to send in full lists.

Worth noting Decades was significantly ahead in the other poll at first, too. Wait until the after-work crew gets on. ;)

Poll deadline set for a little over a week and a half from now, BTW, officially. If I set it wrong I might add a day, since the idea is for it to last through next weekend, but even then only if there's not a clear winner already.

I voted action and comedy since those are the ones I’m most knowledge enough on to make a list and they seem like they’d be fun.

I voted comedy, noir, and foreign. I know all 3 very well and they all desperately need a list!

I’m okay with pretty much all of them, however, I did vote for the three that I would like to do the most - and which had a good mix of genres I like/want to explore even more/could put together a decent list out of already.

Looking forward to see the winner.
