Season three of The Last Kingdom loses a bit of the luster that the first two seasons had, but it's still a great show to watch that takes a more realistic approach to the tales of legendary Danes.

Gotham takes far more risks in season four and becomes more adult focused, but it still has many moments of cheesy, over the top drama that hold it back from its full potential.

You mixes together solid acting with a completely unrealistic story that for some reason is enthralling to a point where I felt a little bit dirty for enjoying it so much.

Season three of True Detective is an even slower burn than season one, but it doesn't have quite the pay-off that season one does. It's well made, it's tremendously acted, and it is still well worth the watch, but it was hard for me not to walk away wanting more from the finale.

With each episode being a different story that takes place in a motel room, it shouldn't be a surprise that Room 104 is wildly inconsistent. There are some great episodes in the first season, and there are some pretty terrible episodes as well. I'm not even really sure who this show is for, since it's so all over the place. It's quite an experience, though.

A story about a boy who's never had sex, but gives sex therapy to his fellow high school students? A wild concept, but it's executed very, very well done. Sure, a lot of the tropes that are explored in the first season are common in teen romance/drama shows, but the addition of sex therapy adds enough of something different to separate it from your typical teen show. A highly enjoyable eight episodes.

High Maintenance comes off as a show to watch while you're high, but it's so much more than that. The anthology (but still loosely connected) format of the show lends itself to a fresh experience in every episode while keeping one familiar character involved to tie it all together. It requires little of the viewer, but it's easy to get more invested than expected.

Season two takes the intriguing concept that was set out in the first season and runs with it. The stories are relatable, emotional, and lighthearted at the same time. This has easily become one of my favorite shows on television.

Carmen Sandiego starts off strong with two entertaining episodes, but then it slowly gets itself stuck in a a rut of repetitiveness and while the story continues to progress...it's easy to lose interest.

Crashing is unique in that it follows a real life comedian acting as an up-and-coming comedian in New York. With guest spots from several other famous comedians, the humor is almost always on point, even if the story occasionally hits a bit of a snag.

Season three of Crashing falls in between seasons one and two in quality. Pete's personal story is great to watch unfold, but the love story does play out in a fairly basic way and a lot of the stand up isn't as good as season two. This whole series is still worth a watch, though.

Russian Doll doesn't come off as a groundbreaking show by any means. The concept isn't anything we haven't seen before, and the execution of the story leaves much to be desired. It tries to be emotional, it tries to say something about loneliness and needing people, but it fails to do really anything of note.

Future Man has its moments, but the entire show comes off as silly to an annoying degree. The story is hit or miss, the humor is stupid but not in a funny way, and each episode feels far longer than it actually is. I can't recommend this one.

The Crown features incredible acting, stunning sets, and a real sense of realism. It's only downfall is that the story just isn't very entertaining at times. Some episodes are great, and some are a painful drag.
