Uhm..
Pulp Fiction ("Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" rules 'em all) Santa Sangre (nice score for this movie, i loved the music) Suspiria & Profondo Rosso by Dario Argento have great tunes by Goblin, a "progressive" italian band that almost ruled our scene in 70's, i wasn't born yet.. but people told me so. ("Profondo Rosso" is one of the best tunes i guess) |

Scorsese seems to be able to pick his music very well:
Goodfellas, Casino, Mean Streets and Bringing Out The Dead all have excellent soundtracks. |
I have to add Tetsuo by Tsukamoto, a soundtrack that hammers in the viewer's head for whole the duration of the movie *_*

Saturday Night Fever, a must for all 70's kids like me.
Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, great fun and really brought the soundtrack some much needed kudos. Last of the Mohicans, beautifull score, very moving. Star Wars just for Vader's tune, instantly recognisible music. Probably shouldn't have replied to this thread, I have over 100 soundtracks in my cd collection, for me music is so important during a film, and when it's done right, it's hard to hear that song without thinking about the movie or scene it features in. Also can be so wrong, the soundtrack or score to Mad Max is horrendous. |
