Horror film from early to mid 1980’s
There was a horror film I watched well over 30 years ago. I don’t remember much about It, except 2 things.
1). I seem to recall there was some religious theme or symbology involved. A priest perhaps? I can’t recall for sure but I’m think he might have been. 2). Said priest (?) Was able to force people to expel their insides through their mouths. Vomiting is a better word. That’s all I recall, unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated. Tha am in advance. |
Lucio Fulci’s City of the Living Dead (1980) has a scene of a woman vomiting her insides, organs and all... But that’s a one-off in that film I think, it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Re: Horror film from early to mid 1980’s
It has to be City of the Living Dead like @AgrippinaX above said. Even though the vomiting of the insides happens only once in the film, the combination of a priest and such act can hardly be anything else. It's a great film, too.

Tha looks like it might be it. Thanks guys. Didn’t remember it being Italian horror. 🙂

I saw this movie in the theater in the US in 1983 under the title "The Gates of Hell". It was presented as if it was a new film, and I had no idea it was Italian either.

It could also be John Carpetner's Prince of Darkness which featured a sad priest and green vomit
