All I can think of a black and white movie that has a scary black cat in it is 1932 The Black Cat starring Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi.

Do you have any reason for thinking it's from a movie, rather than something someone just created?

Don't think it's from a movie. Just google the image and see what is says.

I remember watching a movie. The neighbor was a white woman. She performed some ritual and then either took possession of the black cat or somehow controlled it. The cat would then go and terrorize the neighbors. I want to find this movie and thought that the attached picture might be a clue. I’m pretty sure the movie was in color. I must have watched the movie in the late 80’s or early 90’s. Think I watched it on TV. You know how memory is…

It looks like a classic horror film which gone bad :)

Could be Cat People (1942) or Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)
