R.I.P. Tommy Kirk
 
Former Disney child star Tommy Kirk passed away yesterday at the age of 79. He is best known for his roles of Wilby Daniels in the original Shaggy Dog and Travis Coates in Old Yeller.

Oh man. I was a big fan of Tommy Kirk.
Read a bit about him long time ago... from what I remember it sounded like Disney disowned him when he came out. It was a sad story.

Had a bit of a crush on Kirk when I was a kid...it's sad the way his career went south as soon as he came out. I hate to think that he died so unhappy...RIP.
