Re: I can finally watch PG-13 movies

Wow! Thank You Miss Vicky. I will have to get some of these at the library when I go next.

Miss Vicky 12-28-13 11:14 AM

I should probably warn you that some of these movies deal with heavy and/or controversial subject matter. I don't know how your parents might feel about some of them, so just make sure you don't choose them without educating yourself about them first.

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas is a holocaust movie.
Doubt deals with allegations of child molestation against a priest.
Philadelphia is about a gay man dying of AIDS.
Saved! is about a pregnant teenager in a Christian school (though it's a comedy)
To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar is a movie about drag queens.

I will probably watch them with my mom and she will just turn it off if it is something she doesnt think I am ready to see yet.

I would also throw in the Marvel cinematic universe

Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk (the one with Ed Norton NOT NOT Eric Bana)
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America: The First Avenger
The Avenger
Iron Man 3
Thor 2: The Dark World

Watch in that order as all the movies tie together.

You must be a saintly person. Not too many 13 year-olds would admit to their age. You're also bright. You haven't been posting long and already you know your way around here pretty good. :)

I try to be the best person I can be. I always fall short though. Why should I be ashamed at being 13 years old? Thank You. I will let my Mom know that you said I was bright cuz she has homeschooled me since the age of 4. It isnt too hard to look up posts on here.

No. I would never suggest such crap to a 13 year old. I couldn't stand to abuse a child like that.
