Incredible stuff. I wish my family was like some people I know who have built up huge collections overtime, but no, hardly any films in my house, just a few I've bought myself over the past couple of years :p

The good ones? :D It's much tidier once you let HK go through it all for you. ;) TBF, I've only kept the ones which I've seen and liked or am confident I will like and already have. I have Juno, No Country For Old Men and another couple, I think, but I'm not confident whether I'll like them or not.

One of the houses we were renting was very damp and it ruined the backs of the units and there was mold over some of my dvds as well

I couldn't handle that! Hope it wasn't too much damage and didn't get into the discs and was just the box? There were quite a few boxset cardboard cases that had to go in the bin as they were ruined and some of the discs had to be cleaned. It was absolutely devastating and only by luck my wife noticed it one day when she pulled out one dvd she wanted to watch. As they were all on the bottom shelf there wasnt any of our favorite sets/discs/collectors editions as they were higher up the unit. Dread to think how ruined they all could've been if we hadnt noticed, because there was no sign of it at all from the front but the back of the unit was literally wet. Not just the units were ruined our daughter has asthma and being in a damp house was not ideal. Luckily we moved out not long after that. |

I'd like to see Gravity again because I think it'll be better for me in 2D. A few here I've not seen but would like to for one reason or another. Rum Diary, Descent 2, Filth, 21 Jump Street, Sorority Row, Let Me In, Secret Window and the Carrie remake. I'm not sure I'll like them, but I'm interested enough to want to see them. Not too sure about the bottom two, but I quite liked Snakes until the end and, while I've not seen Kickboxer for about 20 odd years, I used to like it. I missed Gravity in the cinema and only seen it in 2D and really enjoyed it, its visually awesome and so is the atmosphere in the film. (I know there is atmosphere in space, before you say :rotfl:) I recommend you watch all the films you listed as they are well worth a watch, even if you dont like some of them there are some classic moments in the films :yup: Im really enjoying going through my lists as there are films I really want to see again. |

I really like Cherry Falls. I'm in the minority there and I know it, but I don't care. :D Still not seen Cabin In The Woods and still managed to not now whatever it is about it that's secret/special, so I'm still looking forward to that. Is that the original version of The Hitcher? If not :nope: I've seen some of Troll Hunter and I'm not really into it, but I'd like to give it another go, so I'll leave that one. Cherry Falls is one of those films that I watched as a teenager, you know when the 'Slasher' films were riff, like 'Scream, I know what you did last summer etc' Dude I highly recommend 'Cabin in the woods' Its AWESOME :yup: Troll Hunter is another cool film, I would say def go back to it :yup: I watched Sucker Punch and hated it on first viewing, I was going to ebay the dvd and mark it as a fail, but on another viewing I thought it was better, but its not a film that I would go back and watch over and over again. Dredd is another wicked film man you should watch it :up: I still havent seen ;The Raid' :facepalm, when I come back from Holiday I will look to get it on dvd.

Now this is a bit thin. Still, you have Chopper, which is one of my absolute favourites. I'm assuming that's the remake of My Bloody Valentine. The last three on here are great. :up: I don'tknow if I'll like Girl With A Dragon Tattoo or not. The original was OK, but I didn't think it was anything special. Raging Bull is great, but it's not something I enjoy. watching. The Grand Budapest Hotel and Hard Candy are both films I'd like to see. I have Hard Candy, but not watched it. I'd watch Drive Angry again, but at this point, I think I'd only want to sit through it once more, so I'd watch it with my g/f, as I think she might quite like it. I havent seen the original Girl with a Dragon Tattoo but have been told it is great, I really enjoyed the remake and need to get my hands on the original and sequels.The Grand Budapest and Hard Candy are both great in their own ways and I think you would enjoy them. I wanted to watch Hard Candy for a long time but didnt get a round to picking it up and one night we watched it on Netflix or TV and really enjoyed it so picked it up on dvd. I rewatched Drive Angry with my wife and sister in law recently and I enjoyed it but they didnt :laugh: |

As we are moving im trying not to buy dvds at the moment as its just more to add to the collection as it is :laugh:
But I saw these in a charity shop and couldnt resist. I really enjoyed American Mary, it stars Katharine Isabelle who is always known to us as Ginger from Ginger Snaps (a film I dont own yet, surprisingly. I like all three Ginger Snaps films) Good film, check it out.
