Perfect Casting
 

So, here's how this game works.

I'll post a person's name and image. The person could be of any profession (actor, singer, politician, athlete, company CEO, religious figure, or any historical or international figure). The person could be famous, infamous, not so famous, or not famous at all even. Living or dead. Male or female. Of any background.

Just MAKE SURE you post the person's name AND image!

The next poster will have to respond with a name and image of an actor or actress (preferably an actor or actress who is still alive) that would be the perfect casting choice to play that person in a movie.

I assume you're referring to Steve Martin? Sure, he resembles him, but Steve is too old to play Johnny in a movie now. I think I nailed it with Joel Edgerton.

For Marvin Gaye, there was supposed to be a movie about his life and death called Sexual Healing and Jesse L. Martin was cast as Marvin. The producers and casting agents nailed it with this casting. Their first choice was Lenny Kravitz, and I'm glad they passed on him. Not sure if that movie is still being made or if they have since shelved it.

Tommy Smothers! I saw the resemblance for years, but don't think anyone else ever commented on it. Tommy - the brother that mom didn't like best- * bore an uncanny resemblance imho to John. But even though they both were comics, they had such different personas, the visual similarity was easily missed.



At any rate, Tom is too old to play Johnny , as a young man at any rate.
