1970s UK TV alien hidden in house
 
Remember watching this in the late 1970s
ITV maybe a one off episode something like tales of the unexpected
But definitely not that series
The alien had like see through glass head with coloured lights in it
It was hidden upstairs and I think someone fell in love with it???

You sure it wasn't this high-level Cylon from the original Battlestar Galactica?
