What do you think of Black and Blue (2019)
 

I thought it was overall good. Some of the plot turns were far fetched, and a bit of a reach I felt.



I also felt the movie had too many preachy speeches, and characters making these speeches in the middle of gun stand offs, when they wouldn't talk in those situations.

However, I feel that as an action movie, it's quite solid, and the action is much better than usual. Since action movies have sucked lately in my opinion, this one feels like an old throwback to 90s action movies, when the production quality was just a lot better directed. This movie reminds me of Training Day (2001), but better in some ways.

Oh yeah, I read it, nice review :). Also another thing is, I felt New Orleans was an odd choice for the setting since non of the actors have an accent from there, but that's not a big deal at all, of course.
