R.I.P.
The Guns of Navarone is a favourite since childhood. |
Re: R.I.P. Irene Papas
RIP I am not that familiar with her work but she was very memorable as the wild widow in Zorba the Greek.

Totally missed this sad news. Remember her from Tribute to a Bad Man, The Guns of Navarone, The Moon-Spinners, and of course, her stardom. Godspeed, Irene.

Shoot, I never saw any of the movies she was in, but I know her for appearing on Aphrodite's Child's(Cupid I guess) album 666(I only heard excerpts of it, but I will hear the rest some day). I remember that her appearance was crazy and only something to listen to every once in a while. Starring the guy who did the music for Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner. Well RIP, but I saw clips of her in Don't Torture a Duckling(which I have yet to seeing as well).
