Good. I don't think much of gambling in general, but I don't think there's a good argument for making it illegal, or even particularly difficult to do.

Great next step would be to bring back online poker

I still don't think the state of Idaho where I live is going to jump on this. Fully supporting this measure though.

I of course do not gamble anymore. I can only say that for people like me, who used to bet enormous amounts of money that I didn't have, it could help. My problem was not that I maxed out all of my credit cards and had loans from everywhere I could get them, but that I lost many thousands after I had already done that. I would assume that now you would already need to have a way to cover your bets.

It's better than donating to a casino :)

No way, and as much hell as I put my wife through with my problem, she still doesn't mind me betting at a casino. It's not even in the same ballpark. And I don't donate to casinos, they donate to me:cool:

Nope, thanks. I have enough addictions.

I hope that someday they'll overturn the really stiff anti online gambling laws here in Washington. I would love to play online poker again.

I understand the adrenaline thrill that turns gamblers into addicts, but it has never been my thing. I'm just more and more surprised when I'm reading the net how many bans the leader of the free world has.
