2000s western movie
 
At the opening the movie four gangs (one is female) comes to ranch and kills the father and mother and female gang member takes the their little girl with them. The reason why they kill child's family is father was a jury member and he gaves death sentence vote to brother of gang's leader.

Western as in a John Wayne type movie or a western as a Yellowstone type movie? Did the gang ride horses or cars/trucks?

Ride horses. I couldn't watch rest of the movie so I'm not sure about type but it's action.
