A movie with a creature similar to the one in Tremors
 
I saw a clip a couple of weeks ago that showed a film where a young man was running away from a creature that burrowed under ground along with his dog. They ended up near a creek and held their breath as the creature searched with tentacles near them. The dog broke away from him to go after a ball or something in the water.

Anyone know the name?
