Best Surprise Endings?

What are some of the most clever, and/or most shocking, surprise endings you have seen in cinema?

The Crying Game
Planet of the Apes (original)
The Sixth Sense
The Other
The Others
Sleepaway Camp
Se7en
Midnight Run (my favorite)

What else?

Personally, I prefer it when the film isn't structured entirely around the ending alone i.e. the ending doesn't change your entire perspective of the movie e.g. SE7EN, as opposed to The Sixth Sense.

I think the ending to The Others was a little stupid, removing the atmosphere and mood that it had struggled so hard to maintain.

I liked Fight Club's which was a balance of the original idea I mentioned.

Also, there's Vanilla Sky, which was somewhat of a surprise, as well as Being John Malkovich which was interesting, and somewhat clever.

And who could forget Citizen Kane - "Rosebud"

Primal Fear, The Usual Suspects, Fight Club, etc

WARNING: "Bandits" spoilers below
I really didn't expect this movie to have a happy ending. Because of those first scenes at the start, all throughout the movie I was thinking about how they were gonna end up killing themselves.

I just fixed it. I think you missed the part in the explanation thread where Spud said you need to remove the asterisks -- they were only there to give an example of how the tags are used without the tags actually being processed. :)
