Pacific Heights (1990)

Speaking of this film, and my fondness of exploring the city of san francisco
We get this little thriller with a very entertaining plot although a bit too far fetched
Micheal keaton has never been any better playing the all annoying
neighbor , demonstrated here in a sublime way, i have to say the movie works well because of keaton as the villain shady customer at the building.
The direction is worthwhile, with good tricks of camera work especially that nightmare scene, i think it s one of the best movies of 1990
Have your say

I have my issues with this film, but I do agree with you that Michael Keaton is brilliant. A link to my review:

Matthew Modine really is an awful actor when he doesn't have Kubrick to kick his ass into gear.

Re: Pacific Heights (1990)

It has some good parts, but there are other scenes I felt could have been cut and it wouldn't have mattered and it just needed to be tightened. I also felt the ending was very rudimentary and wasn't really memorable at all. So it's mixed for me.
