I have hardly seen any so I am not sure on the industry but I am hoping to watch more. Some I have seen:

A Separation
Circumstance
The Other Son (unless this does not count since it was produced by a French company technically?

There is no company here that take this in charge. I think there is enough movies already; must be a reason why no company here.

Speaking of Arabic films. Going to start up West Beirut (Netflix) shortly. Been meaning to watch this from awhile now

I remembered the movie I couldn't think of --- The Mirror (1997 film).. I would describe it, but it would be a spoiler (don't read anything about it!).


I saw a Lebanese movie from the 50s yesterday, (“Where To?”)… A mix of neo-realism and melodrama. 7/10. It’s on Mubi via Prime
