Post 2 Facts and One Lie Game

Basically you post three things about you, but only two are true. The next poster has to guess which one is the lie, then proceed with their three facts.

Here we go.

I have never walked out on a movie in the theatre.

I have never snuck into a movie.

I saw Star Wars:Revenge of the Sith on the midnight opening.

SamsoniteDelilah 06-10-06 07:16 PM

:D I saw this on Ellen yesterday, and thought of making it a thread.

I'm guessing you've walked out of a movie theater, and the other two are true.
Should I wait til you say if I've guessed it before posting three new 'facts'?

TheUsualSuspect 06-11-06 11:56 PM

You can post your three facts before someone gives an answer.

But you're right.:p

Oh :)
Ok....

~ I have been a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir
~ When I was a teenager, my family was so poor that we all slept in one room in the basement, one year.
~ I can make soap, candles and jewelry, all by hand.

I'll guess the second one.
  1. I started reading Shakespeare in 4th grade.
  2. I started writing seriously when I was 12.
  3. When I was five I made "money" (we're talking $.10 here) by selling my artwork to the kids in my Dad's youth group

Nope. That happened. All 5 of our twin beds were lined up along a wall, down in the basement, when I was 16.

I've never sung in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.. but I have sung under the direction of one of their conductors. ;)

I'll guess 1...

1. I nearly fell off the highest waterfall in the east of the Rockies.
2. I scored a 1540 on the SAT in the seventh grade
3. I wore an SS officer's uniform to the 'Reading of the Names' when I was an undergrad

Wrong.

I didn't start writing seriously until my sophmore year.

I guess number two cause where I come from we don't take SAT's until the ninth or tenth grade.

1. I can speak French fluently.
2. I sing with a local symphony.
3. I climbed Mount Washington.

TheUsualSuspect 06-12-06 02:05 PM

3. I climbed Mount Washington.

1- I've been skinny dipping
2- I've been in jail
3- I broke a window in my backyard playing golf.

Nope, I took the SAT in the 7th grade as part of the Talent Identification Program done by Duke University.

I wore the uniform to a speech given by Elie Weisel, but it was not at the Reading of the Names (it was actually, I think, early in December).

birdygyrl 06-12-06 05:01 PM

Wrong. I really did climb Mount Washington. I don't speak French fluently. Though I wish I did. When I watch those foreign movies I wouldn't have to read the subtitles!

Why would you do that?

I really dislike this guy...

SamsoniteDelilah 06-12-06 06:39 PM

He's been here 5 weeks and already cracked the Top Ten Most Negative Rep list. I don't think you're the only one who doesn't like him. I'm thinking that's the point though. "OOh, look at me I'm so insulting and shocking!!" Whatevs.

TUS: I'm going to guess you've never been skinny dipping?

Someone bet me 300 bucks to do it. Renting the costume cost like, $17.50, and I was a broke undergrad. You do the math.

+$300...... -$17.50 and a soul

Purandara88 06-13-06 12:13 AM

What does a 'soul' have to do with anything? It's a damn joke. I mean, c'mon, Weisel is now a multi-millionaire based on his earnings from book sales and speaking engagements, he can stand to see a goofy costume at this point.

TheUsualSuspect 06-13-06 12:53 AM

Where is this Top Ten Most Negative Rep List?????

And I have been skinny dipping, muahahahaha.

I've never been in jail.

Wow, aside from the first post, everyone is getting them wrong.

Bill 06-13-06 01:25 AM

I'll just start this game over...

1- I'm deaf.
2- I have killed a dog before.
3- My IQ is 80.
