The Scream Series.

After recently watching Scream 6 in the cinema I decided to watch all the past Scream movies too. I had seen some of them before (years ago) and 3 and 4 we’re new to me. But I was shocked how much I actually enjoyed Number 4. I’d even go as far as to say it’s the best in the franchise. Is anyone else a fan of number 4?.

Anyway, including all 6 movies I’d rate them like this:

Scream 4
Scream 5
Scream
Scream 2
Scream 6
Scream 3

I enjoyed all the Scream movies. I have the first 5 on blu ray. My ranking:

Scream
Scream 5
Scream 4
Scream 6
Scream 3
Scream 2

Scream 4 was my favorite sequel until 5 came out.

1, 5, 4, 6, 2, 3.

And the last one is the only one not at least 90/100. Number 1 is, well, my number 1 horror movie. I made it to opening day for 6, and I'm really glad I did.

I've only watched the first and have stood fast in the belief that there is no need to watch the sequels. Am I wrong?

The original
The one about remakes
The one about sequels
The one about trilogies
The one about New York
The one about "requels"

The first one
The 4th one

The others I don't mind much.

Scream: 8.4/10
Scream 2: 8.3/10
Scream 3: 8/10
Scream 6: 6.5/10
Scream 4: 6.2/10

I can imagine it gets worse from there.

Update: Yes, I saw 6 before 5 for some reason. Simply because I didn't have any real choice, but it was marginally better than 4 at least. We'll see if my statement is still halfway true by the time I see 5 or not.
