I thought the movie was pretty good, but I just can't get past how illogical some of the events and decisions were...I can't see this one bringing me back in the same way that the Purge movies do.

I don't think it needs a sequel, personally. I loved it, but I like the idea of it just being a standalone one-off. But, of course, all the studio sees is dollar signs.

What?! I'm with @cat_sidhe and @GrantD2 on this.

It wasn't perfect but it was a very nice change of pace from your typical blockbuster. I liked the ambiguity of the ending. A sequel just ruins that.

I'm in for now, but it could easily be a bad first trailer that takes me out.

I mean I’m definitely pulling for it to be good. Especially since I heard Cillian Murphy will be in it

Mmm. Not sure myself. Looks like they've gone the action route with it rather than the atmospheric horror of the original.


Still don't know why no characters in the film have twigged yet, that all you need is to switch on a wood-chipper then sit back at a safe distance and watch the carnage :D

I am looking forward to seeing this, but I highly doubt it will be possible in cinemas since its coronavirus and everything is closed here
- mandatory quarantine, so I will probably watch it at home which is kinda sad :( :( I wanted to see it in the cinema, you know, the big screen makes everything scarier.
