Depending on the context of the next film, Kate Winslet could fit, assuming it's less about the action and more focused on being clever

There was something raw and clean about the 60's Bond films. They've become too slick these days....

That's why I liked Casino Royale so much, it was definitely a best of both worlds for Bond fans. If the new film can retain any semblance of passion for the character that the old old films had, it will be good. Or it will be like Quantum Of Solace

theres a certain expectation. Winslet doesn't fit the bill as a Bond girl.


A Bond movie less about the action, isnt a Bond movie.

so the new bond movie was actually delayed for quite a while because of the problems from the franchise studio MGM, they were kinda broke :S But now according to several sources bond 23 is back on track, and schedule for release in 2012.

I also wouldn't underestimate the power of the actress Dexter but that's just me

I have no more problem with Daniel Craig.

I would just like to see Clive take on the role for once.. IMO he'd be great, he might come off as an amalgam of all the Bonds we have had so far.

Daniel Craig isn't Bond. Owens might be interesting, at least he is the right type.

Don't forget Pink Panther.

So what is the right type? There's so many people talking about Bond's personality and looks who just speak their mind without actually knowing what the Bond of Fleming's novels is like. Craig embodies the Bond of Fleming's novels.

I also think Craig signed a 4 film deal after Casino Royale so don't bet on MGM replacing him with anyone soon.

Then why did Fleming personally suggest Roger Moore & David Niven as Bond?? They are nowhere similar to Daniel Craig.

I have no problem with Craig as Bond, but I don't think he's the best Bond there is.

Craig would have made an amazing Bond baddie.

Those four picture deals have plenty of loopholes. If they want to replace him, and they probably don't, they can do it without much hassle.

Clive owen would be like 50 the time they done another one, and shoot em up was awful film.

I loved Casino Royal but I wasnt very impressed with QofS tbh. Bond films need to go back to being like Golden Eye and Tomorrow Never Dies, they are both great films.

What they should have done after Casino Royale is remake all the Ian Fleming novels in order. Thet don't have to make them carbon copies of the original films, but use the basic plots.

Shoot 'Em Up was far entertaining than both the Craig's Bond combined.
& Trust me, Clive Owen could pull off a Bond at 50... He's just that good.
