Holy dearth-of-blockbusters-in-da-house, Batman. I only own fourteen, and ten of them are Disney and/or Pixar flicks that really belong to my daughter.
Wow. I can't believe how many of these movies I don't have--and how many of them I should have. |
Don't feel too badly, there's five of them I haven't even SEEN.
In my own defense tho, one of them was Perfect Storm, which I thought might be too depressing and one of the others was a Bond film, which I don't enjoy. I'm not a really "Finding Nemo" kinda girl and I meant to see "A Beautiful Mind" but didn't get around to it. In fact a lot of the so called "Kid" movies I've only seen on DVD and not in the theater at all. Some trends I noticed however.... Very few of the movies are rated above PG-13, "Pirates of the Caribbean" really jumped up fast, Gone with the Wind is still in the top 100 which is awesome considering it was made in 1939. I also liked seeing a few indie films in there like "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Yay! |
Wow I kept loosing count, but I think I have 31 of the 100 :yup: so Polite how many do you own. :)
|
Out of a possible 95 of those (Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, The Matrix: Reloaded, Bruce Almighty and X2: X-Men United are not yet available for sale), I own only 31 (and I have over 1,500 movies on DVD, LD or VHS). But of the others on the list I don't own, most I wouldn't take into my house if they were free. An awful lot of crap makes an awful lot of money.
|
21 and proud of it.
|
Sadly I can probably name off 20-30 that me and/or my family owns.
Too bad not many of those movies are actually very good :\ About the only ones really worth owning are the Indiana Jones ones, A Beautiful Mind, LOTR, and Jaws. |
I own 29 of those movies, I think, I dont think I miscounted or anything.

I currently own 15.
I will own 31 more. I did have some others before, but gave or sold them. And there are some I will NEVER buy. So, out of the 100 there are only 46 I want. My tastes and the public in general don't always coincide. |
Sixteen.
|
I only own 6 of those and I take pride in that, even if there are a lot in there that is great fun but that I wouldn't waste money on.
|
I can't help it; I'm drawn to "bad" movies. I liked "Hudson Hawk". I need help. ;D
|
Hey, when we start admitting that Hudson Hawk was bad is when we add merit to their detractions from it.
Stand strong. |
There are a few pearls but there are also quite a few dog turds in there too.
Titanic?? A lot of people have some bad taste if that's the highest earner. As for me I've got three of the films on DVD, while including DVD and VHS store/recorded, I own a total of 12. |
I own 77 of them............a few of them on VHS.
