MovieMaker5087's MoFo Proposal...

I, MovieMaker5087, propose that if this thread reaches 300 posts, I will make the poster who posts the lucky post any movie of their choice.

Please bare in mind that I'm still an amateur filmmaker and I don't have ILM in my basement, so remember special effects.

If and when the post is reached, I will PM the winning poster on the details of the film they want to make. Please do not just simply go "Oh, I dont know, lol... just make something up!" If I wanted to do just that, I would have. Please have some sort of plot synopsis figured out, and heck, if you have a script, send it. It'll make it easier.

Remember... any movie of your choice...

Except animation (unless I declare that I have the skills to pull off that kind of film later in the thread) and the details and general ideas described in and around this film... I'm not gonna film this and the rest of the junk that fills this genre:

The winner gets his/her movie posted on my website, www.matzarubaa.com, and it goes up on YouTube as well, giving it a chance to go viral, should it be good enough and word-of-mouth help spread it around the net.

And I'll create its very own thread on MoFo, where our faithful visitors can watch and review the film.

So there you go... start posting and cranking out ideas. This should get interesting, if you guys go along with it, that is...

Yoda brought it up to me that for this thread to reach 5,087 posts like I had originally wanted it to, it'd take a looooooooong time. So, I figured that it'd probably be in everyone's interest to lower the post number down to just simply 300.

So, an amendment in the rules:

300th poster gets to choose what kind of film they want to make.

Out of curiosity, what was the inspiration behind putting 5087 in your name in the first place?

One of the first movie scripts I ever wrote was a sci-fi film set in the year 5087. Although the film was obviously never made, I wanted to remember the first full-length script I ever wrote by incorporating the film's year into my online handle.

Not anymore. I slashed the winning post amount from 5,087 to just simply 300. Unless you're still referring for 3 years to amount to 300 posts, then I'll re-change it again. As you can tell, I'm quite anxious about all this.

Like I said in my first post, with the exception of animation and pornography, it can be any film you want, given my limitations of having to stay at home and limited ability with special effects.
