Re: My Interviews with Actors and Filmmakers
This one is a bit different. She's not an actor or filmmaker, but Doreen Brown's story comes to life in "The Marijuana Conspiracy", the story of a 1972 Canadian study of the effects of marijuana amongst women. Elements of Brown appear among the main characters of the film.

I thought it would be a good idea to start linking interviews I have conducted with actors and filmmakers. It's already January 10 and I have done two interviews this year already. |

I did my 3rd episode of my podcast and my special guest is Cameron Scott, a South African actor and filmmaker. He was in Triggered, and his short film Ring of Beasts, premiered this past weekend at the LA Shorts International Film Festival. We talked the films, his love of action movies, who he would love to do an action movie with, his desire to want to do his own stunts, and we talk about our favorite movies and I even helped him with a little history on the South African film industry during Apartheid, which he really enjoyed.

In October, I went to the Spooky Empire convention in Orlando and saw a short film called "Escalation" from Italy and China. I interviewed the star, writer, and director of the film, who is planning to make it a feature film.

Starting in May, I am taking my interviews and posting them on both YouTube and on the podcast on Anchor and Spotify. Today's interview is with Keoni Waxman, known for his 2009-2017 collaborations with Steven Seagal and the 2019 action film The Hard Way with Michael Jai White. His new film is a departure from his DTV action films, the thriller "The Ravine" starring Eric Dane, Teri Polo, and Peter Facinelli.

My 1st interview of the year is an exclusive interview with Amy Johnston. She has a stellar career in action films and video games as a stunt performer. She doubled for Scarlett Johansson for a major stunt in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, took the lead roles in Lady Bloodfight and Female Fight Club, and played Android 18 in a 3-episode live-action web series version of Dragon Ball Z. She also fought Scott Adkins as the character "Jane the Ripper" in Accident Man. She is a wonderful person and I can't wait to see more of her work.
