Silent war film which is under 30 minutes
 

I saw this short on youtube a while ago, but all I remember is the final battle:

-Multiple soldiers from the good side were cut off from their unit and were clustered together in a small circle (they were all stationary throughout this sequence).

-The enemy troops surrounded and rode around them on horseback in a ring shape as both sides shot at each other.

-This short ended with all the soldiers in the inner circle killed except for the protagonist's wife and child.
