A B&W movie from I think the early fifties. A man gets a pair of trousers and every time he puts his hand in his pocket, he pulls out a pound note.

I was aware of that but I was sure I saw it as a film rather than as a TV episode maybe 25 minutes long.

It was British and I saw it about 45 years ago so it is possible that I'm wrong.
