Battle of Blockbuster Movies
From a decent battle of the war movies thread, i wasnt satisfied with the number of people who responded. Hopefully with a range of all kinds of films, from action,comedy,horror, cartoon. We will have this battle go on for a while.
RULES. This will be different from Battle of War Films. 2 will face each other , Then the winner with the most votes advances to the next battle facing the next movie. Like a boxing match, always a new challenger. It will be as if it s The Last Movie Standing. All you do is pick the better of the 2. they will be different genres. I have to hand it to you poemon, you really make some good battles. Having different genres compete makes it so much harder to choose. I love both of these films, damn you!

This is a very good battle, and although Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of my favorites of all time, it doesn't compare to the very brilliant 2001: A Space Odyssey. So my vote goes to my favorite film of all time, 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Very, very hard decision. Both of these gangster films are great but I'm going with The Godfather II. It concentrates more on fiction events that took place in the early 1900's. Goodfellas was more in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. I prefer movies that took place in Al Capone's time.
