Deborah Kerr and Megs Jenkins [The Innocents]
Lucky boy. I would have had a definite reaction to being kissed by Deborah Kerr. Who is this? |
Re: Name the Actress
Well done on my first question Mesmerized. She was from a Brit sci fi series of the late 60s early 70s. Was it Space 1999? Her name eludes me.

Well done Mesmerized. Yes the great Aussie actress herself. Not wishing to sound biased.. but she deserved the Oscar. Her Mrs Danvers was a tour de force. I must have seen Rebecca 10 times

I recognize her too. In fact I seen her fairly recently in something...but damn if I can remember her name. All I can think of is Kim Cattrall. Is that her?

https://img2.zona.mobi/images/backdr...139/139372.jpg I don't know her name, but I think she's in one of the later Hitchcock movies, (from the 1970's). The one with Bruce Dern maybe? |

Yes, ahem...

I know! I know! But gb is on the right trail so I don't want to step on anyone's movie shoes.

We can find yours too by using "Google Reverse Image Search". This obviously defeats the purpose of the game.

Problem is when I hit reply & quote the prior post, I can't help but see the name embedded in the post. Maybe I should just hit reply in future. |
Re: Name the Actress
I always use quick reply [below the last post] unless I absolutely need a quote.

Mezzy's latest photo is the beautiful Jennifer O'Neill from Summer of '42 and Scanners. Wow, I loved her when I saw her in the first film. Here's mine:

One last big clue: She was in one of the biggest movies of all-time and even married the director. If that doesn't tip it, I don't know what will. Remember IMDB is your friend. :D
|
Re: Name the Actress
IMDB is cheating no? Does not tip it. Has she done tv work?
|

Re: Name the Actress
Never watched much of Dallas so I bow to your superiority on the subject.
|
Okay, it's been six hours since I posted her pic so I don't want to keep people tied up waiting. The actress' name is Suzy Amis. She was most notably in Titanic as the main female member of the vessel that was exploring the wreckage of the Titanic. She also married director James Cameron in real life. As far as I know they are still together. The door is open for the next person to post. :)
P.S. I've had a talk with spookie and it's his feeling that using IMDB is pretty close to cheating so it's better that you don't, and just use you're own skills. I know that most of you out there are skilled in your memory anyway, so hopefully all is good. |

Re: Name the Actress
I remembered her because I'd seen her in other movies before Titanic and even though her part was smallish, she played Gloria Stuart's (the older Rose) granddaughter, as I recall, and I recognized her and her beauty. The first pic I posted was her current looks and although maybe not as fine as she used to be, I still like her.
