Most Anticipated 2007 Blockbuster

What 2007 big blockbuster movie are you most looking forward to? Why?

Mine is Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
The first one was my favorite movie of 2005.

Thatone55 11-18-06 06:10 PM

im looking forward to saw9......aahaha check out this idea:

I am jesus, son of god, i have come here to teach you about life, jessica, its very important

that you listen to what i have to say, it may save your life

there is a key inside yer left boob, see that scouple, grab it and make your way threw the nipple, are you bleeding yet? Reach Inside your breast, you should feel a key, grab it, and undo the lock. Your time is running out jessica. There is a poisionous methane seaping it's way into your cell. There is a contraption inside your vagina, If you have not unlocked yourself within 30seconds, your g spot will be ripped out. Are you willing to sacrafice your nipple, for your life? The Clock Has Started!

The Taxi Driver 11-18-06 10:41 PM

I plan on seeing Spider-man III but nothing on that list really gets me excited at all. nothing special to me

JBriscoe 11-18-06 10:49 PM

where is e) none of the above...

...Sin City 2, Automaton Transfusion, Hatchet, 300

Britbrat19 11-18-06 11:45 PM

what about harry potter?

pavo_roddy 11-19-06 04:47 AM

HI all,

It's too bad you cannot pick more than one...... Though I did go with Spidey!!

Naisy 11-19-06 08:21 AM

I'm gunna go in no particular order (although my poll selection is Rush Hour 3 : mmmm Jackie)

Rush Hour 3
POTC
Transformer's would be my top three I'd have to say

diamondgeeza 11-19-06 10:45 AM

Ghost Rider look's good judging by the trailer's i've seen and just to re-live my childhood Transformer's aswell!

BobbyB 11-19-06 12:12 PM

Um...when I saw the title of this thread, two movies popped into my head and neither are up there.

I'm most looking forward to Zodiac and Sin City 2.

Maybe Spiderman 3.

B-card 11-19-06 02:22 PM

That's tough what would it be Ghost Rider,Spiderman 3 or Transformers.Where the hell is "300"?!?!well i went for Transformers but don't think that the other 3 movies are not Anticipated

moviemat 11-20-06 12:08 AM

Sorry you guys, but I thought Sin City 2 was coming out in 2008, I forgot about Harry Potter also I don't know why I would put Norbit up there, sorry. Never heard of Zodiac. Is there anyway I could edit the poll. Thanks, if I could I would change Ratatouille and Norbit to something else.

PS: I want to know what is the next Harry Potter movie called(Harry Potter and the ___________)

Escape 11-20-06 12:18 AM

I chose Spiderman 3 though The Transformers, Ghost Rider and The Fantastic Four are hot on their heals. :D

Ðèstîñy 11-20-06 03:56 AM

Rush Hour 3.

raggman 11-20-06 10:04 AM

Rush Hour 3 - I just hope after making us wait this long it's as good as Bad Boys 2 was after making us wait ages for that one too.

But Spidey, FF, and Shrek 3 are hot on its heels.

Loved Sin City but can they pull a masterpiece off twice - I hope so but I've been disappointed more often than not

Ghost Rider might be an enjoyable flick but if I miss it I won't cry myself to sleep

Transformers I'll probably catch when it comes out on SKY.

The rest I have no opinion about - may see em, may not, depending on my mood when they arrive

Pyro Tramp 11-20-06 10:05 AM

300 looks awesome, though unlike Spiderman 3, i get the feeling it will be either immense or a let down.

undercoverlover 11-20-06 10:01 PM

spiderman will be, as were the previous ones, dissappointing. So much potential...

im surprised POTC wasnt a more popular choice.

300 looks to be pretty awesome and i get so friggin excited about the harry potter films i have to be physically restrained

Flags of our fathers will probably make a big hoo ha too

for your consideration, once its had more press wll come out well in 2007

and of course shrek the third wll be huge

jrs 11-30-06 06:36 PM

Note: In case you are interested, Shrek the Third is not comin' out until 2010..... and what's Norbit?

Sin City 2 has been indefinitely shelved. We may never see it, or it may be made without Robert Rodriguez, who's reportedly frustrated by the lack of progress on it, as well as by the film's star (Angelina Jolie)'s constant inavailability. :(

You haven't heard of Norbit yet? It's another Eddie Murphy vehicle where he plays a guy who's about to marry this fat, obnoxious woman (also played by Eddie Murphy). You get the picture? Nutty Professor for the 2000's. Looks hilarious.

Steve1071 12-01-06 06:58 PM

What about ACE OF SPADES? I'm actually looking forward to this one (though it won't be a blockbuster...). Kind of looks like an American version of what Guy Ritchie would do -- without the Kabalah stuff.

danchubbz 12-02-06 10:37 AM

Shrek is awesome, can't wait

Lot of other quality movies on the way though, loved Transformers as a kid so will be lookinh forward to that!

colormejewish 12-05-06 03:20 PM

aren't you forgetting the sequel to the passion?

thmilin 12-06-06 01:49 AM

spidey feels more gauranteed B+ and less "p|ss me off with some handling" than Sin City 2 (which swings between A- and B- for me).

Transformers, but i'm afraid of what they'll do to it.

And for true gauranteed B+ to A- experience, Harry Potter tops my chart off.

Othelo 12-07-06 09:32 PM

Has it come to this, the real question to me is "which one am I the least ambivalent about?" In that case my vote would be Spiderman 3. The summer movie season is going to thoroughly blow chunks if this is what they have to offer.

matthews_world 12-10-06 09:54 PM

Transformers opens Independence Day.

Harry Potter opens July 13th

Simpson's Movie opens July 27

Wow what a month!

Please not another Rush Hour. Thought the 2nd was was overly dull.

Well considering Eddie Murphys latest Blockbuster and his big win with the Globes. I am sure this will be a blockbuster, and it looks pretty funny too!

Tea Barking 01-23-07 06:45 PM

It was a toss up between spiderman and transformers, but transformers won it for me, i've loved it since i was a kid and looks like they will do it justice.

Amber 01-23-07 06:52 PM

Got to see Shrek the Third, and also Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End. Also the new Pixar film Ratatouille looks pretty funny.

I definitely will be watching Shrek the Third. How do you rate it compared to the first two? I thought the second was funnier than the first but enjoyed that one as well.

TheUsualSuspect 02-09-07 09:38 AM

The second was not as funny as the original. It was a big let down for me.

Re: Most Anticipated 2007 Blockbuster

There is a movie starring Kevin Kline coming out at the end of the summer beginning of the fall called Trade that looks very good. It is only in limited release though so I hope it comes around here.
