Admire a Favorite Film of the Above Member
Like to thank nostromo87 who pretty much came up with the idea, i just created the thread...time to start being nice people (I know how hard that is for some of you ;)). Instead of bashing a favorite film of the above member you show admiration for one of them...since i started the thread there is no one above me so I can't admire any right now...just say anything nice or that you liked about a favorite film of the member above you.

Talk to Her may not be empirically the "best" of Pedro Almodóvar, certainly not his most influential or even the most famous/infamous...but it may well be my favorite. Dark and weird and full of humanity and humor and horror. You know: Almodóvar! . . |
Re: Admire a Favorite Film of the Above Member

Silver Linings Playbook was one of the biggest pleasant surprises that I've had in a long time. I didn't expect to get that much out of it, but it was funny, engaging and a movie I will want to revisit many times again.

Like the movie - Falling down.
Watched this first as a fan of Michael Douglas (I have seen close to 30 movies that he has acted in) but totally fell in love with Robert Duvall's acting in this movie! Really nice movie with lot of fun moments and D Fens' emotion and pain is well-portrayed. Most of the situations in the movie is what we can relate to in our lives at one point or another. That makes the movie more enjoyable. |
