Admire a Favorite Film of the Above Member

Like to thank nostromo87 who pretty much came up with the idea, i just created the thread...time to start being nice people (I know how hard that is for some of you ;)). Instead of bashing a favorite film of the above member you show admiration for one of them...since i started the thread there is no one above me so I can't admire any right now...just say anything nice or that you liked about a favorite film of the member above you.

Hello101's top 10 are nicely rounded out! lot's of diversity in films there. Falling Down was an awesome concept for a movie. I have to watch that film again!

Godoggo 02-06-15 02:16 PM

All About Eve is a fantastic film. Razor sharp dialogue, Bette Davis, Thelma Ritter and a really funny Marilyn Monroe. What more do you need?

I've probably seen this movie more than a dozen times now and never get tired of it.

Talk to Her may not be empirically the "best" of Pedro Almodóvar, certainly not his most influential or even the most famous/infamous...but it may well be my favorite. Dark and weird and full of humanity and humor and horror. You know: Almodóvar!

Wizard of Oz is a classic, they made a prequel and honestly i'm surprised Hollywood hasn't tried to remake the actual movie and ruin it as well.

and if anybody hasn't seen Good Fellas well........idky those kind of people would be on this site.

Silver Linings Playbook was one of the biggest pleasant surprises that I've had in a long time. I didn't expect to get that much out of it, but it was funny, engaging and a movie I will want to revisit many times again.

Trust me, i'm not a fan of Romcoms whatsoever but i watched anyways (Mostly for Chris Tucker as I haven't seen him in a movie in years and also for De Niro) and i was blown away by Jen's performance (I had never watched one of her movies before this one, what an introduction am I right?) and it immediately made me a fan of hers. That's what made me watch WB, and the X-Men movies, it's crazy i had no idea who this chick was a few years ago, now i want her to have my babies ;)

Like the movie - Falling down.
Watched this first as a fan of Michael Douglas (I have seen close to 30 movies that he has acted in) but totally fell in love with Robert Duvall's acting in this movie! Really nice movie with lot of fun moments and D Fens' emotion and pain is well-portrayed. Most of the situations in the movie is what we can relate to in our lives at one point or another. That makes the movie more enjoyable.
