Do you have what it takes to survive? Play and find out. There will be challenges, tests, twists, turns, hidden immunity idols and redemption island where you will have a chance to fight your way back into the game.

Game play is simple. Everyone will randomly be put into two tribes. The tribes will compete with each other for immunity. The losing tribe will go into tribal council where one of the tribe will lose his/her fire and be sent to redemption island where you must face a new set of challenges to try to earn your way back on to the island.

Tribes will be divided on the 28th of Feb. and your first tribal challenge will begin March 1st.

A reward challenge starts now:

Sign up challenge

The first person to sign up, simply signs up. The second person picks the first person that signs up. The third person can pick either the first or second person that signs up and so on. You must pick a person , any person, that signs up before you . You have a week to sign up and lobby others to sign up and pick your name. Anyone signing up needs to intend to play. The person who has been picked the most times when sign ups are over wins an advantage in the first challenge for their tribe.

Well I don't think we're gonna have to eat rice for 40 days. So It's safe to say that all you need to do is win challenges and vote off who you don't want to stay in game.

It won't. I couldn't make it go that fast if I wanted to. Challenges will run different ways. Some you may have to be here for, but I'm going to do my best to make sure it's a time that everyone can be here or I will make a couple of different times and you can pick the time when you are available. The first challenge you will have 12 hours to complete and it should take 5 minutes. I'll always tell everyone when a challenge is going to happen.

Those are team challenges. I'll be having other types of challenges, so it's a good idea to check in whenever you can and at odd times.

Tribal councils will last anywhere from 12 hours to 24, so everyone will have plenty of time to get together and try to save your butt if you think you need to. :)

That's the main play. I'll be throwing things at you guys along the way.

Also, the island is haunted. Watch out for ghosts, but never ever speak of them. :cool:

This is exciting. I have 11 islanders so far. I need 5 more and I'd like 9 more.

Anyone still can win the advantage, but Seanc has a good lead at three.

We can use this waiting time to talk a little about how the game will work. Firstly, tribal councils. After a team challenge we will go into tribal council mode. The winning team can pretty much relax and enjoy the win. The losing team will need to secure their alliances and decide on a vote. Voting will be done individually by pm. At the end of tribal council, you will know how many votes each of your tribe received, but I will not reveal who voted in what way. ( For the most part).

If you have an immunity idol, you may choose to hold on to it or you may play it. However, if you do not play it, all votes for you will be counted and you will go to Redemption Island. More on immunity idols later.

Voting is mandatory. All members of the losing tribe must vote. I may allow advance voting in some cases where a person wil be away for more than 24 hours. Let me know if you will not be on the forum for a day.

In tribal council mode, I will be interviewing the losing team. Answer how you want, but I expect a direct answer of some sort.

No. Once you are on Redemption Island you play only in those challenges specified for that island. If this were real, you guys wouldn't be able to hear or see each other. If you are the one to come back it may be before or after the merge and you may or may not come back to the same tribe.

Also while on Redemption Island you cannot possess an immunity idol.

You never know what the vote will be for. I have a hunch but you never know.

Like Seanc said this doesn't officially start until Feb. 28th. I opened the thread early to get as many players as possible. There will not be a vote until after the first team challenge and then only the losing team votes. Everyone on the winning team will be safe and will play in the next team challenge.

So it will go like this: team challenge then losing team votes one member from their team off the island. That member will then go to "Redemption Island" where they will wait until two more tribe members from either tribe are voted off. Those three will have their own separate challenge where two will leave the game permanently and one will stay to play another challenge. Eventually, the person remaining on that island will come back to the main island to resume play.

It will become more clear as we play, but everyone please ask questions that you are not clear on while we have this time.

Nope. But it's good for those who get voted off early on. You still have a chance to come back. You would be the best player in the world to be the first person voted off then come back and win the whole thing.

Good question and yes. It would be too confusing if there wasn't. I may even have a separate tribal council thread. Obviously this one is going to become very long and it may serve better to use this one for main challenges and mini individual challenges.

This is a rule I pretty much live by anyway, so no problem there.

I hate to say it, but I don't think I'll be able to play. I'm entering my last month of courses for the term, and the homework/exams/essays are really starting to pile up. :(

Sorry everyone (especially my bros, but you guys are amazing, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!), but I'm certain this game will be a blast. I know I'm missing out big time.
