A wonderful story. Both sad and funny. The two movies tell one story. When it was done, I was ready for more.

6. Blade Runner- Scott


This movie is loaded. it could be critiqued from several perspectives and has in fact been subject to such critique- Religion, Philosophy, Economics, Sociology, etc.

5. Purple Rose of Cairo- Woody Allen


I think this movie was a breath of fresh air. It seemed like a wonderful idea for a film. Another opportunity for Woody to illustrate what existentialism is about.

1. My number one movie is Goodfellas. by Scorcese. To me this movie is the whole package. Good directing, good use of the soundtrack, great story, good acting.

I am satisfied with the top 20 and the bottom 20, but the middle was hard to rank for me. That's why I did the list.

I haven't seen a lot of Woody Allen's movies, but Purple Rose of Cairo is probably my favorite of the ones that I've seen.
