I love Marge Gunderson and Ofelia, both great female characters, but Ripley was an inspiration back in the late 70s. A tough capable woman in charge. One who didn't trip over her high heels while running away ;)

In my opinion Nurse Ratched has to be one of the most overrated film characters of all time.

They're both a little "overrated", in my opinion. There are plenty of better and more interesting female characters out there.

I'll go with Ellen Ripley because she's badass.

is it just me or does the best choices for these never actually win the tournaments :p
