After only 3 weeks in cinemas...

JW has hit almost 1.5 billion and is already sitting in 5th place on the all time most profitable movies list. It;s poised to knock Furious 7 off the top spot of most profitable movie of 2015.

In terms of the most profitable movie of all time, Avatar, it took Avatar 7 months to make 1 billion, JW has made 1.5 in just 3 weeks.

It has taken the top spot in largest opening weekend of all time, and also holds the largest 2nd weekend all time.

It's had the 3rd largest single day takings of all time.

When it comes to singular days, Mondays, Tuesdays etc, it has had the largest Saturday takings and Sunday takings of any movie in history.

It's also had the largest single day takings for a June release, making it the most successful Summer release of all time.

JW is also the fastest movie to reach 100m, 150m, 200m, 250m, 300m, 350m, 400m, 450m, 500m and 550m dollars.
